What people ask before making their first portrait
What kind of photo works best?
A clear, reasonably lit photo where your pet's face is visible and in focus. Photos that are very dark, heavily blurred, or where the pet is small in the frame tend to give weaker results.
Is the preview really free?
Yes — 2 free previews every 24 hours, 6 in total, and you can try it without an account. No card either. You only spend credits when you unlock the high-resolution, watermark-free version.
Is this a subscription?
No. You buy credits once — there is no recurring charge and nothing to cancel. Credits expire 30 days after purchase, and the expiry date is always shown on your credits page.
What file do I get when I pay?
A high-resolution image with no watermark, plus square, 4:5 and 3:2 crops and a phone wallpaper version of the same portrait.
Can I print it?
Yes, within limits. Portraits are generated at 1024×1024 and enlarged for download, which is enough for a standard frame but not for a poster. We do not print or ship anything ourselves — you keep the file and choose where to use it.
Does it work for cats as well as dogs?

What happens to my photo?
Your photo is uploaded to our storage and sent to a third-party AI image provider to generate the portrait. To have your uploads and portraits removed, delete your account or email [email protected]. See our privacy policy for the full detail.
What if I do not like the result?
That is exactly why the preview is free — check it before you spend anything. If a paid generation fails or comes back broken, contact us and we will make it right. See our refund policy for the specifics.
Can I use the portrait commercially?
Personal use only — print it, frame it, give it as a gift. Reselling it or using it commercially is not permitted under our terms. Please also do not upload photos you do not have the rights to.
Can I make a pet memorial gift from a photo?
Yes. You can add your pet's name and dates along the bottom of the portrait, which is what most people want for a keepsake or a sympathy gift for someone who has lost a pet.
